06 to 07 steering wheel question
Has anyone successfully changed out their steering wheel without audio controls to one that has them? I have searched and can't find any results.
I have an 06 and have bought an 07 wheel with audio controls (thanks again Larry). Changing the wheel is not a problem, but what about wiring the audio controls?
If anyone has any helpful advise it would be greatly appreciated!!

Honestly, those steering wheel buttons are almost useless. I was excited to see that my '07 was going to have the buttons but as it turns out I never use them. They're on the wrong side of the wheel. My right hand is almost always on the shifter (two inches from the radio) so it makes no sense to come all the way back to the steering wheel to change the station or volume.
If they were on the left side they might be more useful.
My opinion is that it's not worth changing the wheel just to get the radio buttons.

Are you wanting to contol an aftermarket HU? If so, check out pacific audio corportation's website, they may have an adapter that will work.
