AUX - cheaper solution?
I read through the forum about my options for hooking up my IPOD to the AUX using iPOD2CAR, or Peripheral PXDP, etc.
I don't need all the functionality these devices offer, I'm fine with just skipping through tracks on my ipod directly and manually shutting it off, etc..
I don't really feel like spending $150 on this and was wondering if anyone has a cheaper solution. I don't have a cd changer, so the easily solution presented in a previous post won't help me either

Is there no cheaper adapter or something that would just enable me to run a wire from the back (AUX port) of the unit with an earphone-like prong that I would just plug into my earphone jack on the IPOD?
In other words, just use it like an audio input?
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Thanks,
Nat

This can be found on ebay and in the For Sale section on this site for cheaper. I purchased mine on ebay for $40 (new)
You will also need the COR-HAR, the CD changer's harness. It can also be found for under $50.
Then you can add any RCA jacked based audio device, using an RCA to 3.5mm head phone jack adapter for the iPod.
I now have:
.
Peripaheral IPOD2CAR Adapter
.
Peripaheral GMH20T Cable
.
Peripheral PXHGM4 Cable
.
If anyone is interested I will let all go for $90.00 +sh
