you can build them into kick panels, but you'll get some blockage with your legs.

Most popular tweeter locations:

- Speaker cove (next to the woofer)
- A pillar (in the corner near the windshield or in custom crossfiring or rear facing mounts)
- Door pulls
- Anywhere in the door you're comfortable drilling a 1.5" hole.

I want to add, if you aren't going to take the time to properly install the tweeters, optimizing aiming, and reducing PLD as much as possible, then don't bother buying expensive speakers, because even Rainbow Reference ($7000 high end line) will sound nothing like they should - just dropped into the doors with the tweeters in the door pulls.

I put mine down low in the stock location, with about a 30 degree pitch up towards the center of the car.

This picture shows the drivers in the door (with the grill cloth removed) so you can see how the drivers are setup:

It sounds pretty good, but as Kale said you have to be careful for blockage by your legs. I don't have a huge problem with tweeter blockage in this location, but the mid is still blocked... so go figure.

Hope this helps.
