There are many subs that are good IB. You can't just "hang it" in the rear though, the front and rear of the sub still need to be sealed off from each other.
I think you can do 10s IB in a z06... A pair of IDMAX10s would be heart stopping.
Whether the subs are of the IB variety or not, in this particular instance the application is not IB. IB is virtually impossible in a hatchback/FRC like a Corvette.
That's part of it, but more importantly, the trunk space is too small. The To act as an IB, the rear phase of the driver has to be unaffected by the "rear enclosure." Unless those particular drivers have not only a high Qts, they'd need a very low Vas. The example looks like a large 2nd order enclosure.

Unfortunately, that has the same answer as "what size box does this sub need?" It all depends on what driver (and its specs), how many....
The vast majority of IB subs need tremendous space to actually be in an IB configuration and are usually only found in sedans. If the trunk space is small enough to have an effect on the driver, it's not an IB. Don't confuse the lack of a built enclosure with being IB. They aren't necessarily the same.
