Because of the Nav, I left the Bose head unit but redid the rest...

Fosgate 3Sixty.1 splitter system w/ Bluetooth programming
Going to add a powered 6" low profile sub in place of the center speaker next week hopefully.
Interesting setup. In particular the 6" dash sub.. how are you planning on getting that in there? Would really like to see some pics of that, good luck!
2: Other than Bluetooth, any particular reason for the 3Sixty?
1. Seems like a great place for it. The cheap paper cone that's there now is superfluous since I now have pristine clarity and separation due to the new splitter (which answers #2.)
By no means am I saying this is a high end solution. It's not. But for under $1k, the quality is remarkable. Considering my car a vert driving topless 99% of the time in Southern California, super expensive audiophile quality would not be appreciated anyway. I have that stuff in my recording studio.
I ask not in judgment of the quality of the system, but because the sub needs to be in some sort of enclosure to avoid cancellation, and the factory NAV has flat response that doesn't need something like the 3Sixty or JL Cleansweep designed for OEM integration.
ooo. I'm looking forward to the review on the RF 3sixty. I did a project on it for my computer class.
Is that sub a "free air" sub? If not you will need some kind of enclosure.
You still have to seal off the rear of the driver from the passenger compartment. There is no such thing as a "free-air" woofer. I think you're referring to an "infinite-baffle" design. IB just allows for a theoretically unlimited rear enclosure size.
