Advice audio upgrades for C6 Blose

I have an '06 Z with the Blose. I love everything about the car except the sound system. I'm not an audiophile and don't want to spend a lot of money. What would be the cheapest and easiest way of upgrading the sound? Are new speakers enough? Which ones? Do I need an amp or should the headunit be replaced? All suggestions would be appreciated. I'm an audo noob.

The simplest thing to do is replace the 3.5's in the doors and the 5.25 in the rear... That will help some, after that its kind of wide open...
