I was just putting my AVIC-D3 in my 07 C6 w/ Bose & OnStar, and am having a little problem. At first when I connected it, it chimed as it was supposed to. Then, it did it a few more times randomly. After that, the unit will not power up. When I disconnect, and reconnect it, no chimes, and unit will still not power up. Does anyone have any suggestions? I checked the GM LAN fuse under the dash, and the amp fuse under the hood. I am stuck, and could really use some help. Please feel free to PM or e-mail me. Thanks all!
I have both the Peripheral GMAH24B, and the Scosche 2B11B. I have problems with the Scosche unit. That is why I got the Peripheral unit. Now I am having completely different problems.

OK, that's the right unit so that's a good start. Did you also get the GMAHCM chimes module? Not sure what you were referring to re:chimes in your first post.
Check the fuse on the AVIC's power wire and double-check your connections to & from the relay on the Peripheral module. The key is to make sure you have the red wire output of the relay connecting to the ACC wire on the Pio. This is what tells the head when to switch on & off with ignition.
Yes, all of that is fine. The chimes I was reffering to was the chimes when you connect the adapter to the factory harness. It chimes twice to let you know that it is connected properly. This does not happen anymore. I cannot figure out why. I have checked and I have continuity on all wires. It is just that all of a sudden, it does not power up at all. I thought it might be a blown fuse, but I cannot find a blown fuse anywhere. Can I fry the computer system? I don't have any error codes or anything. This is really pissing me off. I have had nothing but troubles with my stereo system from the beginning!

As another step in troubleshooting, try re-connecting the factory head. If that works correctly then you know at least the car itself is fine.
Another thought, for checking the AVIC... make sure you're getting +12 out of the GMAH24 constant power and connect the ACC for the AVIC to it as well. If you have +12 going to both and the AVIC still doesn't turn on, it's the radio itself.
