C5 HU swap
I have a 2000 c5 with the cassette/changer combo. I have a factory single disc cd player from my 97 Cavalier (this stereo has been sitting in a box since 97). It looks identical to the single disc player that comes in the C5. there are 3 plugs in my current hu. the 97 hu accepts one of the plugs (it has two rows of pins). The second plug did fit with a bit of effort. There was no place to put the third plug but I was just hoping it was for the changer. the fuse blew a couple of times so I gave up but is there a way to get this to work? I would rather have a single disc player than a cassette and changer. Also, I don't want to use a dash kit and aftermarket HU.
