You need to choose your speaker first. Once you have your speakers, buy an amp that supports the speakers RMS output. If your going to use component speakers, I would use two amps. Use a mono for the 10 inch sub and a multichannel for your component speakers. Once you pick your speakers, if you still have trouble picking your amp, post up. But you need to get the speakers first. I hope this gives you an idea.

80 - 100 watts rms per channel minimum. Plus built in x-overs would be great. A 4ch. amp will turn into a 3 channel amp easily and will need a lot less wiring. Let me know if I can help....

i've been pretty happy with 75wrms but it can get drown out if you have the top down and have a loud exhaust. Also the efficiency of your speakers will have a lot to do with the volume as well. Also we'd need your budget to start off with. As a default starting point i'd look into a used xtant 603x. I've owned one of these and it's amongst my favorite amps (only to be beat out by my current amps) It has 75 wrms x2 and 300wrms x1 (@ 2 ohms)

I have a Hifonics Zeus 4 channel amp powering a pair of 5 1/4" infinity Kappa components and a 10" subwoofer.

You get a lot of bang for your buck (Hifonic Zeus is under $200) with this amp and I have it wired in three channel mode. Front channels for the components and the rear channels bridged for the subwoofer.
