Pointers on DIY Ipod installation for my 2006.

Parts:
blitzsafe
soundgate
This post has the much needed info as to how to do it. The red parts is where my questions/confusion is.
Overall, I'd say this install is a medium difficulty. The console removal alone needs a decent amount of time devoted to it. It's not hard, but with 6 electrical connectors (F55 makes 7), 9 screws, and 12 press-connectors, you had better devote some time to it.
A big thanks to Shock for being the guinea pig and parts pointer!
NOTE: My tips on this install are in no way intended to encourage you to modify your vehicle, nor will I be held liable for damage done to your vehicle by either following or not following the above instructions. This is a moderately difficult install, unless you are very comfortable with these types of projects, please consult a mobile professional, you will both be happier!
Any pointers as to how to connect both the blitzsafe and soundgate to get power and also the "add a circuit" to the fuse panel would be much appreciated.
As detailed there are a bunch of connectors you have to remove to get the console out of your way. The all involve pushing down a catch so you can pull the connector out. They're each a slightly different style (with a couple of dupes) but they concept is the same for all. His suggestion to do the ashtray first makes sense, but the tab/catch you have to push down for the power connector that opens into the console tray is between itself and the underside of the console. I have found it easiest to use a 90 degree pick (a pick set can be had for $5-$10 at any tool store) to reach the top of it and push down.
The fuse panel can be found by removing the passenger floor mat and then flipping the piece of carpet at the front of the passenger footwell down, towards the rear of the car. This will expose the fuse panel. Do yourself a favor, since you're working there anyway, grab 2 of the "add a circuits" and get unswitched power from one of the circuits there as well. Most of the rest are not switched so either use a meter to figure out which one is constant or just guess until it works!
