I apologize if this has been asked before. I don't have the time to search the forum looking for the answer.
To my dismay I learned after turning the radio up to listen to a great song on the radio, that the radio volume will only go so high. Is this a feature or problem with the Bose systems. Is there a way to increase the volume without buying a new system. I have the nav system option and really don't want to screw with that. OR is there a relatively inexpensive alternative to get the sounds I want to hear?
thanks for help.
I'm not sure if GM/Bose has implemented this, but some amps now have a feature that backs off the volume at a certain output level to keep you from damaging part of the system, either the amp or the drivers. It's probably something along those lines.
It also could be that the recording level was low enough that the unit couldn't amplify the signal any further.
