Default New System Almost Done *TEASER PICS*

I'll have it back by next week sometime. All the work is done by Rock Star Designs in Houston TX. Rocky is a stand up guy and does great work.

I'll post another one tomorrow.

As for the details.

4 Image Dynamics ID8's

Kenwood Excelon DDX8019 with separate nav system. I think the 5v preouts are worth the extra money.

Front stage- IDxs69. I know, I know they are 6x9, but image dynamics doesn't put out garbage products and I have it from a couple of trusted sources these things pump out some serious midbass and retain excellent sound quality. These aren't your old Jensen 6x9's.

Amps- JL1000/1 and JL450/4. they fit the c6 space perfectly.

More Pics soon to come

Oh and right on!! Screw storage.

Looking forward to getting your impressions on the ID 6x9. nothing wrong with 6x9s... same cone area as an 8... only real issue is off axis response.

I recently installed the 8019 in my car and Im very happy with it. Crystal clear sound with no noise or hiss between songs or during quieter passages in songs, even with the volume set very high, youre going to like it.

Awesome. I really liked the features of this unit and know Kenwood Excelon makes an excellent product comparable to alpine and eclipse when it comes to sound quality.

Great website that explains everything

http://www.bcae1.com/spboxad2.htm

Those are different variables that determine port size, tuning freq, etc. for a box

Those numbers have to be calculated and/or derived by the person designing the box, not the driver manufacturer. The enclosure is what determines most of them.

You're right, I just kinda looked at the abbreviations and thought I saw Fs and pointed you in the direction of the ID site. To be honest I couldn't tell you those numbers, Rocky does all the design and building of the enclosures using a mix of manufacturers recommended specs and his own tweaks.
