Good audio shops in Orange County, CA
Can anyone recommend any audio shops in northern orange county area that has done good work on your car? I have a JVC KD-AVX33 head unit that I would like to get installed and didn't want to have a hatchet job done on my C5.

The C5 Corvette is so easy to change the system in. From what I have read here on the forum, there are many installers that take short cuts on installs and a few that don't.
I did mine a couple of years ago. I ordered a stealth type sub box, speaker mounts and head unit mount for a single DIN radio from this forum. Shopped for the best price on equipment I liked and put it all in my self. I also put a layer of sound deading material in. Took me about a week to complete. Best of all it cost me less than if a shop did the install and I have the satisfaction of a job well done.
If you do decide to do the install yourself, I would not mind giving you a hand and there may be others in the area that would help also. If you want to hear my system, I go to the gathering at the Block of Orange regularly or PM me to set up a meet.

not exactly orange county... how about thousand oaks? too far? If not call Phantom Electronics (tell them scott with the corvette car computer sent ya)they did a bang up job finishing up my install. good guys over there
