Seem's that nationalcorvetteregistry.com site is down, and i have no idea how long it has been down.
Anyway i want to get around to putting some componets in the front of my FRC. I need some plates, i'd make them my self...but after making my own sub box last time, its just something I'd rather just pay for hahah.
Who makes some? I've heard a lot of good things about "TheKomoman"
I pm'd him, but all his post seem c6 related.
Any other options out there? Want 6.5" + tweeter spot.
Im pretty sure Komoman fabricates C5 plates also.I had his installed in my car and the shop who did the install were very impressed with the quality as was I. You wont find any better.

I have a design and have cut successful prototypes but still haven't found machine time to actually MAKE any. Still hoping to get it done soon, look for a post from Pipedreams.
If you need, I may be able to cut you the plate. You would need to cut the holes for the woofer and tweeter though. I have some 1/4" MDF i'm not using and teh templates are laying around somwhere in the garage.
Thanks for the replies guys, I'm going to give him a call, his site is working now.

I appreciated the offer, im more then capable of cutting my own...just lazy lol. I just want something out the box going to just fit and work, i built my own stealth box and thats the last thing I'll ever do like that.
Dave says the new version of the shopping cart software has been updated, and the new site look will be finished in 2 weeks.
He has all new C4, C5 and C6 items and sub boxes coming in early 2008 as well... Hope this helps!!

Other folks will FINALLY get a chance to be lucky bastages next week too!
Today I found some machine time to sneak in some sets of C5 plates. I have attached a couple of pics of the generic plates that Mark test-fit for me. Based on his recommendation I have moved the hole for the midbass down 1/2" and the tweeter hole down 3/4" to get them solidly into the opening on the door. The production pieces will be made from the same 1/4 sanded canvas phenolic plate that I used for Mark's.
Thanks again to Mark for his help with the design & fitment!
Look for an announcement from Pipedreams next week!
