Illumination
I read that the 12v ACC wire does not work when installing an after market HU, but what about the illumination wire? If using a wiring harness adaptor wired to the new HU wiring harness does the Illumination wire still get power, or am I gonna have to go to the HVAC harness and tap into that?

I haven't tried to use the illumination wire in the radio harness... not sure if it works or not.
