'88 C4 front speakers
Hi guys! I just got my first vette last summer and I'm planning on upgrading the HU and speakers.
Could someone please tell me how to open the grills/covers on the front speakers? Can I just pry them out carefully with a screw driver or do I have to take some of the dash apart to get to the speakers?
Sorry if someone addressed this already in a different thread... Please direct me there if this was previously discussed.

Yes, I did. I've been reading on this forum for awhile, and finally registered yesterday. Thanks allot to everyone! I've been learning so much about my vette thanks to you. I sure want to learn more and fix some stuff by myself, but just don't want to break anything
Kale, I thought the front speakers may be a pain getting to, so I'll leave those alone and just replace the door and rear ones. Thanks for the tip.
I'll need to take apart I guess some of the dash sooner or later though to look at the AC/heater control buttons/display. The heat and AC are working just the lights are blinking wild.
And I think I know what the problem is.
