Bose/aftermarket head unit
I have wired up an aftermarket head unit in my wifes 87. I removed all of the amps, installed 6x9s in the rear, and after removing the front amps reinstalled the small bose speakers in the front. This seems to be working fine, she is happy with it and it is not giving any trouble. I now see that the front speakers run on only 2 ohms however. She doesnt really crank it, she just listens to the radio, and the fader is set predominately to the rear 6x9s. So my question is what are the consequences of leaving this hooked up like this? Is it going to be OK if it isnt pushed hard or is it going to eventually burn up the amp?
