Speakers for C6

Speakers for C6
Considering on new speakers for my C6 but do not want to go crazy like before.
Currently running Eclipse DVD/Nav HU w/ a PAC.
1. What would be good 6.5 speakers?
I am considering JL, Can you tell the difference between the ZR reference speakers and the other JL products such as XR
Not doing a sub right now so maybe I will go with a 2 channel amp instead of a 4 channel.
Any advice welcome..

JL comps are nice but i say go out and listen to em or even better find someone who has em in car.
Maybe get the 4ch now and have the spare channels ready for the sub later

JL, Polk, MB, etc...
Now if it was home speakers I know...M&K and B&W...LOL cars no clue..

I would check out JL C5-650 speakers. They are a step up from the XRs and come really close to ZRs or dare I say just as good for a good bit less. I have them in my car getting power from a JL 450/4 and they really sound fantastic!
