Removing AVIC from C6 - Need Help
I'm removing a professionaly installed AVICZ2 from an '08 C6Z. Can anyone give me step-by-step directions such as:
1. Remove fake carbon fiber trim

go to c6 faq, look up and of the dbl din install guides, specificially the dnx7100 one it shows how to get dash apart pull avic out and the harness/bose adapater hope no wires were cut up by installer and plug stock unit in

You have a bunch of screws to remove and a terrifying pull of the console trim that you will hate, but it's what has to be done.
After that it's just removing the screws holding the radio in and disconnecting wires.

the 08 is similar, but you will need to twist the ring below the shifter (i don't think 05-07's you had to twist) to get the boot to come down to expose the bolt holding the shifter **** on. Other than that, it is the same thing as previous years.
