Re: Bose stereo keeps spitting out CD,,anyhelp why? (CORVETTE MIKE)
Every time i put a cd in it spits it out and says ERR.I have the delco bose, anyhelp on this? thanks mike
These are none to go bad. Your best bet is to go aftermarket.
Now for the mean time, if you want to try it (don't blame me if your CD gets stuck in there), try putting the CD in with the car and radio shut off or put it in and shut the car and radio off. If you can get it to stay in, then when you turn it on, it might read. I tried a lot of "tricks" to get mine to work, they work for awhile, then I gave up and went aftermarket.
Re: Bose stereo keeps spitting out CD,,anyhelp why? (CORVETTE MIKE)
My '91 ZR-1 does the same thing. As suggested, the turn off the radio with the disk in and then turn it back on thing works sometime. Also, when I insert the disk I punch the Srch button a couple of times, this works sometime too. I read somewhere that the problem is caused by a temp difference between the actual CD and the player  So you might try and warm up the radio or CD a bit before trying.
I am considering mounting an FM modulated CD changer in one of the rear compartments. That way the car looks stock, but I have a REAL CD player that works! Since the connection is between the antenna connection should work fine with the Bose system.
