Can't help with the Dynamat but I believe the carpet removes easily in 3 pieces. I've read best to start in the rear and work forward. The rear piece breaks right behind the rail behind the seats. I've had that out and it is simple.

80 sq ft did the same area on my hatchback coupe. It should be the same on your vert. The cockpit carpet can be taken out once you remove the seats, the center console and the arm rest compartment.
