The info that I have on found here states to use a PAC AOEM-GM24. When I find info on the harness it says that it is for Bose systems. Is it the correct one to use?
I am looking at buying a Blaupunkt THA 475 pnp becuase of it's small size. Any comments, good or bad?
no u just need the harness part not the whole box. this is detailed in C6 FAQ
with both of these statements.
The PAC AOEM-GM24 will work out-of-the-box, yes. However the OEM-1 box that makes up the core of that harness is completely unnecessary, and even worse it has an ugly loudness EQ curve built-in that there's nothing you can do about. While it will work, it won't give you optimal results. The best way to go is as Penta describes, use the ADD-GM24, hack off the output connector and solder on some female RCA's. The ADD-GM24 can be had at Sonic Electronix.
