Since the Z06 Partition is quite popular to seal out road noise from the rear of the vehicle, wouldn't it be useful to mount a small enclosure (or perhaps some free-air subs on a suitably reinforced partition) to hold a pair of 10" subs, for instance?
I don't yet own a Z06, but it's in the plans, and it seems like a win-win: lower road noise plus a mounting location for subs....
Anybody tried it?

I am the manufacturer of the Frc partition you have been seeing for the past year on different message boards and I have some good news out there that I was trying to save till January 1.As of Oct 2001 we have been working on a specific enclosure for the Z06 AND 99 FRC CARS,Well its finally being produced .It will incorporate a single DVC 8" SUB in a bandpass configuration that will port through a custom made partition specifically designed for this application .The Vent will be at the base of the partition where it meets the floor which will inturn make contact with the enclosure via a port in the front of the subwoofer enclosure that is mounted in the floor hole .Also there will be an amp rack built into the sub enclosure rear wall that will allow you to mount an amp with dimensions 22 x 2.25 x 9.5. Also included will be center storage cover and side storage covers to give the z06 a complete flat floor.
Also will be available a custom made 2 piece Cargo mat.Hence front cargo area Mat and rear Cargo Mat.
