Default V1 Install Help Needed In 2001 C5

I'm going to install my V1 in my C5.

I have the V1 junction box that I guess runs to the fuse box and allows you to also have the remote hidden display. Ideally speaking, I'd like to put the remote hidden display in my ashtray while having all wires hidden. I have mounted the detector with the suction cups very high up on the windshield to the right of the rearview mirror.

Does anyone have step by step how to do this? I've seen some installs from the rearview mirror but I don't think they were utilizing the remote hidden display as well.

I've searched but came up with nothing. Thanks for your help.

you will need to run the phone cord under the molding at the top of the windshield and down the pillar into the underside of the dash, wire up your little splitter box and then from there run a wire to the remote display

sorry if thats kinda general, ill do my best to help but the question was a bit vague

This link helped tremendously. Thanks for everyones help.

I installed the V1 to the right of the mirror and the v1 hidden display unit is located in the ashtray with no wires exposed - Looks Great!
