Default Kicker speakers

What model Kicker speaker will work in the door of a C5? Looking for wither one combined with a tweeeter or separate with crossover.
Thanks
FRED

Any 6.5 will do... Why stuck on kenwood? They aren't particularly... good.

I've not heard a bad thing about the Kenwood. I love the Garmin Nav system.

Well, they're better than Infiniti... sony... but don't hold a candle to say, the entry level Focal stuff in a similar price range.

Never heard of Focal? What makes it so good? Where is it manufactured? Who sells it? Anywhere there are reviews of the product?

The goal is to find speakers to replace the stock speakers in the door. the installer suggested KICKER speakers two piece unit 6.5 speaker and a separate tweeter with cross over. He said they come in a complete package about 375 for the pair. I was just wondering about these speakers? also he suggested 5.25 in the rear. A one piece unit with the tweeter in the center. Again Kicker.
Fred

If you had to rate speakers how would you rate them?

Focal is a high end speaker manufacturer, one of the more "mainstream" high end brands... Can't get them at K-mart or best buy for sure.

It's a French company. Also known as Jm Labs in the home audio world. I really like their stuff.

The Access Line is the cheaper line. Many are fond of Polyglass.

Utopia BE if you feel like dropping $3 large though.

DLS and Rainbow are also good, and offer lower lines. (sub $500)

Hertz Mille has also been making a name... Local high end shop picked them up recently. Good reviews, but I haven't heard them.

Image Dynamics makes a good midbass + rebadged tweeter of some sort, that's mid priced and I've heard good things.

I'm not a fan of CDT myself, since they are mostly rebadged and marked up stuffs. Though the Eurosport sets under $275 or so are not that bad of a buy.

Polyglass MSRPs for $379 for a pair and given ~80watts against those Kickers... It'd be like a Vette vs a Civic. Serious.

if you want to stay 'best buy' brands, the Pioneer Premeire S-C720PRS has had rave reviews on its midrange, and not bad reviews on the tweeter. Can be had for less than $300.
