GPS Mount in C4

GPS Mount in C4
Any suggestion on a TomTom navigation mount for my C4. I know I know I should go with an in dash unit 
but budget only allows the cheap TomTom One unit right now.
I found the traditional and even extended suction cup windshield mounts don't position the unit well due to the steep rake on the windshield. I've looked at the cup holder mounts and even rested the suction cup mount on the small ledge to the left of steering wheel but then light switch is a pain.
The bean bag mounts don't work for me either as they don't support my spirited driving without becoming a missle.
