I have a JL 13W7-D1.5 sub. I bought it about 4 years ago and had it installed in one of my cars. I took it out and hit has been sitting in my room for awhile.

It has a small little puncture on the sub. It's small but it's there. Any hope for this thing? Would it still play fine if I ever hooked it up? Or does this need to be fixed, if thats possible. Any ideas?

Depends where the puncture is... the cone, the surround, the dust-cap.... if the dustcap, is the pole-piece vented all the way up to the cap?

It's basically in the center. The sides of the woofer come off, except the center and thats where it is. I will try to post a photo later.

I just need to find a box so I could try it out. I will give JL a call anyways.

if it's just the dust cover, It won't affect the sound quality... the "center cap" is just a cover to keep junk/ dust from harmin the voice coil(s).. If it's just that, then just dap some silicone or hot glue to kinda seal it...
