mp3 question
I've tried Roxio and iTunes to make mp3 cd's. They work in another car's cd player but not in the vette (05 model w/nav). Does this indicate something is wrong with the player even if it plays regular cd's just fine.

my '00 and '01 bose units played mp3's just fine. I'm sure the '05 should play them. It could be the bitrate that you are ripping them to. Try 128bit or 196. Also try using standard CD-R media and not RW media.

go do a search in C6 general ...
What works for me ...
Itunes.
Set all songs to ID3 tags Version 1.0 (right click to do this)
Make sure song names and artists etc have no more than 22 char
Burn at a slower speed
Use good quality CD blanks
