I'm building a pro touring 1967 Corvette, and would
appreciate any ideas & examples of a high end stereo
system for this car. The car is (obviously) no longer
stock, so I have lots of flexibility in system design.
Any suggestions for an instalation shop in central
or south NJ would be appreciated, too.
Call Al, the owner at Highway Audio in Edison. Tell him Greg Bender sent you and you'd like to see what he can do for you. Ahead of time figure out your budget, what you want, and what you are and are not willing to modify. I worked for him for a few years and we still keep in touch. When I need stuff for the car he's always helpful. Its been around over 20 years doing top end installations, right of exit 9 on the turnpike.
I used to commute there by bicycle from Rutgers on College Ave. If you go to Rutgers, you should be right around the corner from there. Its on RT 1 southbound just north of the Multiplex. Used to be the old Harley Davidson of Edison. Peter McCabe is probably still there. He's worked with Al for almost 20 years and can help you out also. Just drop my name.
