Here is my new setup. Keep in mind that I did all the work myself... so that might explain a lot.
My setup includes 2X 10" Kicker Comp low profile subs (400 RMS, peak 800, 4 ohms) being powered by a 1400 2-channel Amp. I also have a 2 farad capacitor connected to the amp. I have the PAC OEM-1 (GM24) adapter with the RCA outputs. I have the stock Nav w/ BOSE. I've connected the "rear" RCA outputs to the amp. What I'm wondering is what is the best way to setup the system, other than what I have it as. I have 1 channel going to one sub and the other channel going to the other sub. It sounds "alright", I wasn't sure if there was any tricks to setting it up to sound its best. How should I set the levels on the BOSE? Should I leave them all in the middle and then mess with the bass levels on the amp? Also, should I turn up the mids and treble now that I'm adding more bass?
Below is a picture of the enclosure I made out of MDF and fiberglass.
Thanks in advance!!!

LOL tracked you down again.. get me the model of the subs and amp. That way I can tell you how to wire the subs in
if that amps a pyle replace it and it will sound like 10x better right away
REALLY?? I had a pyle in my last setup....I thought it was decent... that bad huh??? I thought an amp did one thing.... put out watts... But if you say so, I'll get another one.
Well, I just want to thank TorchedC5. He helped me UNF@CK my setup. It sounds MUCH better now!! Still keeping in mind that the "powerhouse" Pyle amp is the bottleneck of the setup. Hopefully no one else will buy one of these crappy amps. Thanks again!! Sounds LOTS better!!
Pentavolvo... you were right... I didn't realize the Pyle was such a crappy amp. I have now seen the light.

No problem, this is why I love this forum. Blackhawk is a top notch guy and it's hopefully the start of yet another good CF friendship!
