C6 Headphone Jack....

Has anyone put in a headphone jack? I have a Vert and sometimes wear earplugs when on a long trip with the top down. I thought maybe some earbuds would be a nice change instead of plugs....

i'm not 100% on this, but i think that is illegal... now that that is out of the way. i bet you could do it but you'd need a loc and maybe a tiny cmoy headphone amp.

you would need a super small amp for the headphones, no need for a LOC

a cmoy amp is a very small amp (mainly used as a headphone amp), but you would still need the line level output.

why not just hook up an ipod to some headphones and cut out the middle man?

Actualy, you can have 1 ear phone in most states.....i know, because sometimes I ride my motorcycle with an ipod on in one ear on long trips

you could also use the sonic impact t-amp and gut it from it's case. get a simple power supply (voltage regulator and cap.... about $5) and use the t-amp's headphone jack.

btw... if anyones has $50 to blow i'd strongly recommend getting a t-amp just for fun. I have one; though it isn't as good as my dared mp-5 gainclone amp (with tube pre stage), it sounds really good for such an inexpensive an efficient amp. i powered my def tech bp-10 towers with it (5 watts) and it filled up my living room with sound.
