I see lots of cheap deals on the internet for the D3, but it seems they are from these shady dealers in Brooklyn, etc etc. I can accept losing my warranty, but don't want to lose my money as well on a crappy deal.

Anyone find any reputable internet vendors with a nice closeout price on the D3. Since they are officially discontinued I would assume nice prices can be had.

I heard something about Pioneer is out of these units and may not be making anymore. Something about a D4 coming out. Talk to C5kidd.

My rep was out of these units and could not give a ETA on the new ones. Now we know why there was a rebate.

Yes I had an order with C5kidd and then he just disappeared and I never heard back from him. From what I gather he has ran out of them and doesn't foresee any more so he's out as a source.

C5 kidd vanished on me. I ordered a double din bezel for my D3. I bought my D3 @ Sonic electronics with all install parts was $669.00 got in two days. C5 kid need to learn how to communicate with his clients. I have left numerous messages phone and e-mail with no response. Would not recommend this to anyone.

I got one at my local bestbuy for $699 and it included a free bluetooth unit in the box. just fyi

Yep Pioneer is out of stock on the D3 and is planning to release a newer version in the summer time

I picked mine up from the same place. Now if I could just get someone to install it without charging $400+

I don't have any tools or know how otherwise I would man up and do it myself.

When c5kidd announced he didn't have anymore, I ordered one from 6ave.com. They are an authorized Pioneer Internet Retailer as well (from Pioneers website). I received it in 3 days no issues.

I'll probably go this route, any idea if the bluetooth was a local deal? Putting the D3 in the cart at bestbuy.com doesn't show any extras.

I got the included bluetooth module when I bought mine from BB in Maryland, and the blaster is in CA. I think it is a national thing.

bought it in store, the way they have them stacked you have to ask someone to get on a ladder and bring the box dwn to you, make sure sticker on box says free bluetooth.

I got mine from sonic best prices on stereo equipment. They have packages with the bluetooth i got mine without.
