Wire termination ???
What is the best way to terminate wiring into a screw-in connection like on an amp, for both speaker and power cables ? It seems bare wire just gets destroyed if it is the kind that the screw comes into direct contact with the wire. I guess you could solder the wire tip, I also saw something called maincrimps. Just wondering what the REAL professionals do.
Also do you guys like the gold plated crimp fittings for speaker attachments and ring terminals ?

I would go with the previous suggestions on the spade terminals. It is a solid termination with no question of stray wires. Makes things more reliable when there are no stray wires making unwanted contact.
