c4 '94 front speaker access?

c4 '94 front speaker access?
How do you get to them? There are no screws visible in the carpet. I tried to gently pull the carpeted box off, but its not moving. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

You need to remove the sill covers, and the piece that holds the rug to the body above the sill cover on the rear of the door frame. There are about four screws that hold them on, when you remove them there is Velcro holding the speaker cover on to the speaker enclosure. It is some of the hardest to remove Velcro in the world, be careful. I almost broke my hand when it came loose and I whacked the top w/ my hand.
