I got the PXAMG installed in my Vert and it's great, plays the iPhone with no problems. However, I came out to my car with significant battery drain. Now I"m not sure if I forgot to put the car in reverse, but I really think I did because I always look to see when it tells me to put the car in reverse and then I do it and the light goes out. This happened to me once before and I had to jump and recharge the battery. However, the PXAMG I noticed I can always plug my iPhone into it even if the car is off and there is power coming out of the plug. Would this drain my battery enough that I would have problems starting the car? Or can you tell me if the PXAMG pulls power from the car when the car is off?
The PXAMG is designed to provide power to the iPod/iPhone when the car is turned off to continue the charging of the device. Once the device is fully charged, it goes into maintenance mode which draws very little current. This additional draw could drain the car battery enough over time to prevent it from starting.
How long did your Vette sit before it would not start?

I'm also curious about how long it sat. Sitting 2 weeks a C6 stock will put a pretty hard drain on a battery and I'd bet after 3 weeks you probably couldn't get it to turn over.

Nah, it sat for like 2 days maybe. I'm also toying with the notion that I friggin left the dang thing in 5th instead of Reverse, that might have done it. lol. I will see when I use it today. Thanks, the guys that installed it contacted the company and they said exactly what you stated that it goes into maintenance mode or is turned off once the car is shut off and theres no way it would drain that much power. Really appreciate the help guys.
