Default a few questions

I have 2 rockford punch hx2 15's (I know that they're an older model, but they still hit HARD) and I want to try to put in my 2002 z06. Is it possible to make these fit?

If not, I think I'm going to run two JL Audio 12w7. Are there any other comparible speakers for a lower price?

Also what is recomended for highs and mids? I don't want to be over powered by the bass and not be able to hear my highs. I'm not trying to have the loudest system out, but I definately want to be heard for down the block and set off car alarms!

As of right now, the whole system is factory, but I want to get started on this soon. Any suggestions? Please help direct in the right direction of something that will hit hard and sound great and clear! Thanks in advance!

Possible? Sure... if that's what you want to do.

I put two 15" Cerwin Vega's in a BMW for a guy.... the box took up the entire trunk! We had just enough room to put the spare in (like a piece of toast into a toaster) and mount the CD changer. We ended up moving the changer because it skipped so bad. Needless to say, he loved it.

Do you have the specifications for the drivers? They are required to figure out what size box you will need to build. Do you want to go sealed or ported? Are you looking for maximum SPL, low frequency extension, musical reproduction, or what? Your musical 'tastes' will determine what kind of box we go with.

The trunk opening may not be big enough to be able to slide a box in, so you may end up building it 'in-place' to make it fit. If you have any fiberglass skills, you would make it look pretty trick of you wanted to. You might not be able to remove it later, though.

Find the driver specifications and take some rough measurements of your trunk area and maybe we can come up with something.

I have the specs, just not on me right now. I want a sealed box though, and plan going fiberglass. I believe the sealed box vol. is 2.25-5.0 cubic ft., but I'm not too positive and don't have the rest of the specs.

I listen to rap music too, and I dont really want to give up all my trunk space. I actually want to build it into a partition and have them aiming forwards into the cab. And preferably something that I could remove (which is why i'm leaning towards the 12s).
