Let me know how it goes/ sounds compared to the CDTs..

I have my stuff in the basement waiting until next winter for my ZR-1

I will be using the Nak head unit I have along with the NINe.5 and my 9kv.2s in the back.. front might just be my CDTs I have for a 3way, but could go 2 way active as well, depending on where i would mount front speakers

Anything has to sound better than those CDTs. I had the same set for years and have hated how muddy the mids are. My Focal 165KF's are on the way!

wow is all i can say. midbass is so much stronger and tweet is fuller. i should have done this a lot sooner.

i need some more listening time and play with the crossover a bit. still need a lot of tunning, but just a rough setting right now it leaps and bounds above the 2way passive cdt's

What did you pay for those speakers?

They sound like it might be good for me to think about changing to, but it will come down to placement of the midbass and tweeter in my car. I cannot do both in the door like you did

Jeff, I paid $250 shipped from madisound.com, they are based in wisconsin and arrived at my door 2days later. Luckily we have plenty of room in the c5s for something like this

the tweeter is pretty large as you can see and after it came in the mail, i was afraid that it might not fit.

If you don't buy Dave's for some reason, I've got a set that I'll be trying to dump in the next few weeks. CDT CL-61's.
