HI there guys. I am in the process of dynamating my C5. I am going to be doing as much as I can myself (wiring, etc.) and take it into a shop to do the fiberglass work (sub box and amp rack).
My question is, I am doing the big 3 and running new wiring for the speakers I am going to install on the doors as well as the amps and the new deck. Can anyone tell me what kind of wiring to buy for all of this and what gauge? Elemental Designs sells a big 3 kit, is this worth it and will it be enough wiring for the car?
Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions. Thanks.

4ga is good for the big 3 and the big 3 kits often have more than enough wire. I don't think you'd need more 12ft
Hey neighbor. (Rosevillain here.) I use Walmart speaker wire in my system. I run something like 370 watts /side to my front speakers over 14 gauge. you can find this in the car audio section, it's VERY decent stuff.
For power wire, 4 gauge is good. Have to be careful now, since people are 'undersizing' it now. Car Audio Innovations in Roseville is usually where I go for small quantities of power wire / fuseblocks, etc.
If you run into any issues, let me know and I'll help out. I have an RTA set up, more or less, so I can help with tuning.
