Install question for the gurus....
I want to take on the installation of a JVC AVX44 H/U in my 01.
Along with it, I'm planning on installing the Ipod interface and a backup camera. I've done a few searches on the forum, but haven't really come up with any enlightening, so......
Questions:
1) Do I need any special adapters to connect the speakers?
2) Any recommendations on a backup camera/mount?
3) Any special "gotchas" I should prepare for in this installation?
4) Recommendation for a JVC vendor in the forum? I thought I found one, but it appears that vendor may not be the best choice.
I've done H/U installs before in other cars, but not a C5.

you need soungate gmcrv2 to retain your bose system
dont forget dash kit and antenna adapter
also be prepared to tap for ignition power at either ignition harness or passenger footwell

I got a great backup camera off ebay for about $125.00.
It mounted right above the license plate and used the screws that hold the light so no drilling.
I had to reverse the assembly and notch it with a DREMEL to get the right angle but it is bitchin.
