What's a decent but reasonably priced 2-channel amp in the 50W @ 4 ohms range that doesn't run too hot? A lot of the reviews I see for smaller amps mention how hot they get. Or am I better off getting a higher-rated amp and not pushing it as much?
Forgive my noob questions... I just want to get something that will mount in the rear well (C5) and run something like JL Tr650-CSIs.
To be honest, with an amp that low powered, heat really isn't an issue. I have a 500 watt mono block amp that barely heats up. (JL 500/1) So you are good with any of the "normal" brands...ie Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer, MTX, etc...
