Oiy! Need some advice/help...
I'm looking into upgrading the 5 1/4" speakers in the back of the car. I have a coupe, and am finding it difficult to trace down "destuctions" for the rear panel/speaker removal. I've done a search and the results are slim-pickens for useful info.
Background:
Kenwood DNX7100 Head Unit
Stock Speakers (non-Bose)
Head unit was a huge improvement, but as usual, give me and inch and I'll want a mile.
Thanks!

I have a Vert, which is different, however I have read on here that you can pry the grille off of a coupe's rear speakers and get access to the speakers.
hopefully others will chime in.

coupe is 6.5s not 5.25s and you dont have to remove any panels the grills should come off atleast on the multiple c5 coupes i have done they do

Yep he is correct! The C5 Coupes are the only ones with 6.5 speakers, the ZO6, FRC and Convertibles use different size speakers.
I hope you didnt buy speakers yet.

5.25 and 6.5 wont sound much different back there, since the enclosure blows goats.

Wow, the Crutchfield catalog keeps claiming the rears are 5.25 on the coupe....
.
Maybe I didn't pass enough info - I have a
C6 coupe, not a C5.
Thanks for the tip....
Lucky for me, no speakers have been bought yet... Anybody have any disassembly pics? I've seen speaker baffles -
Will these help the enclosure?

c6 they are 5.25 sorry my bad, dont waster ur time or money with baffles
on the c6 you have to remove the strut for the hatch have somebody hold it up then you pop out a few push pins if i recall and it comes out.
i dont remeber exact steps and ive done a bunch of c6s which tells me its pretty easy, then pop the strut back in while you work
