Just like other people I am having the same problem everything wired up according to the intsructions.
But no sound, Gmos 04 maybe the culprit.
I will call metra in the morning but if anyone has really detailed walk thru for this please post.
I have done the search but the answers are a little confusing.
Looks like the Metra doesn't come with a relay for our application, and is probably the #1 reason folks have problems with the install.
6. A Relay is needed in the 2005-2007 Corvette. You will need to cut the blue/white wire in half
between the 16 way Molex and 24 way gray connector.
• Connect the blue/white wire coming from the 16 way Molex to pin 85 of the Relay.
• Connect the blue/white wire coming from the 24 way connector to pin 30 of the Relay.
• Connect pin 86 of the Relay to Ground.
• Connect pin 87 of the relay to fused 12 volt constant wire. Using tape or a wire tie securely the
Relay from moving around in the dash.
The relay can be had at Radio Shack, something like this should do the trick:
I chose to do the Peripheral piece (SVHGM4 and SVEN) for the C5 we did with the F900. Was straight forward with no issues. This was after having some issues with the Metra harness. We did get it to play, but it did not play the door midbasses, which was unacceptable to me. Now it runs perfectly with the stock Bose system.
