C4 96 Bose question

C4 96 Bose question
My Bose radio (cd cassette) Works fine on CD and cassette but the radio acts like it has no antenna hooked up hiss sounds like between channels static. But the antenna goes up and down car only has 52k and it worked fine till on my way home last night. Anybody ever had this happen? Anything to check? Thanks

I guess one thing would be to make sure the antenna plug is securely attached? It's in the rear storage compartment, behind the passenger seat. On the outboard-side of the car, under the storage tray, is the radio receiver. Just make sure that the antenna is plugged in securely; somewhere to start at least.

Thanks just checked it even hooked in a different antenna, same thing so I guess the unit (receiver went bad) I will try to figure out what years had this for a possible replacement. Thanks
