I have a 2000 fixed roof coupe with the plain non-bose sound system. It is a cassette deck, and no cd changer set up. I want to be able to use my microsoft zune in my car but don't want to go the FM transmitter route. I bought one when I first got my zune and it did not work very well and shortly after quit working altogether. I bought a CD player off the forum but it did not work in my car. It did work in my monte carlo so I know that I was sold the wrong unit. It worked great in that car so I just kept it for a back up. But any how what I need to know is where I can get either a interface that will work with my non-bose stereo like the ipod adapters, or just a wiring adapter to install a after market stereo.
ALL C5s ARE BOSE
all c5s should be able to use the same ipod adapter if i recall because they all were capable of controlling the same cd changer
Thank you for replying
I looked inside the doors through the window switch opening and could not see the amplifiers or any tweeters, just a square opening where tweeters should be. And the speakers looked to be really cheap, not like the bose speakers in the ecklers catalog
