Default HPF Filter setup in a C5 coupe

Hey -

Here's my setup:

Avic D1 HU
Component speakers up front
10" sub in the rear
6.5s in the rear

The fronts and subs are powered by a 4 channel amp (2 bridged to the sub, of course)

So here's where my question comes in. When I set up the Avic output, do I leave all the HPFs OFF and let the HPF/LPF settings in the amp do all the work? Or would it be better to have the HPF settings in the HU turned on and leave the filter settings on the amp off? Of is there some other combination I should be considering?

Thanks in advance.

it depends on what x-over settings you have on the amp v. the head unit. (slope, x-over poitns, etc)

Ok, thanks. Once I get it all installed I'll gather up the details and probably come back w/ more questions.

I appreciate your help.
