Has anyone here installed the hks camp 2 system? If so will it work with the gm nav? Or do you have to have a aftermarket head unit?

Looks like that system needs a video input on the stereo, and the stock NAV doesn't have one. Assuming it uses a standard composite video signal it is *possible* but I don't know what the results would be like. There is a company that will solder-in a composite video jack onto the stock head but you have to pull the unit and send it to them. Do a search for DVD on NAV in C6 general and odds are you'll find threads talking about it.

To my mind however it would be a waste. The factory NAV system is pretty low res and you have no control over the video settings to make it look any better.

I just tried it on my C5 and it won't display any data. Will continue trying.

Update...the CAMP2 will not work with GM vehicles. Spoke with HKS yesterday and the protocols on the GM cars are different than on the imports. Was a let down since it is a cool setup, but oh well.
