My D3 has stopped playing sound and I don't know what to do. Everything has worked fine for about 5 months now, but today when I was driving the sound went dead. If I turn my car on the sound will come back on for 3 minutes then go off again. I tried it again during my break and the sound came on for about 20 seconds then went out again. All of the setting controls are fine, I really don't know what to do.
Any ideas?
Thanks

My only guesses that maybe the harness for the audio outputs is loose. Or if you have the sound running through an amp, maybe it's not grounded right and is getting hot/cutting out?
I am having a similar problem with my Z-2 All of the sudden. Although in reverse. I get no sound when I start the car then all the sudden while driving I will get sound and all will work normally for as long as I like until turning the car off...
My Setup:
AVIC Z-2, with Bluetooth and iPod unit, connected to the stock Blose amp and speakers.
Been working wonderfully for over a year! Not sure where to even look... though I would guess maybe the Blose is not powering up? HELP!
exactly amp prly isnt powering up id check ur connections in the harness, then get voltmeter and see if u are getting 12volts on the turn on wire when the radio is on
