DVD player help
new dvd player for house, three video's and all have this in and out darkness to lightness. the whole video. One video plays perfect. what up with this?? I moved the dvd away from other componets and it still does the same. New cable (the good stuff) and the same problem. Anyone ????? :nonod:

its not the movie!
how did you hook the dvd up to your tv?? ....... you can't hook the dvd up through a reciever box or a vcr's line in or anything you must link the dvd straight to the back of your tv into the line in ports...... see if that fixes it if not lemme know.

Macrovision! It sounds like you have it hooked up through your VCR. The VCR's Auto Gain Control is wacked out by the Macrovision copy protection. The DVD player has to be hooked directly to your TV (or receiver to be switched).

Yepper right to the vcr with rca cables. Re-routing to tv. Thanks, I was about to shoot either the tv or just something in the house. Thanks a mil.
