Question?
I have the base radio head in my 2007 C6 Coupe.....one CD slot and no XM based on what I can tell.....
I am basically happy with this system as to sound for now.....however, I would like to add either an IPOD interface or Sirius tuner......
The face of my unit has an AUX button, but doesn't do anything that I can tell and the owners manual doesn't say much about it.
My Question is this: Is the aux button for an optional cd changer and if so, is there a connection for this on the rear of my stock unit where I could connect one of those aftermarket IPOD interfaces?
Comments and suggestions greatly appreciated.

I have a base coupe too (no-BOSE) and the AUX input on the face of the radio works by hooking up an Ipod (in your case) with a 1/4 jack.
You will not be able to control the ipod via the radio, so you basically have to contol the ipod unit its self using its own controls (or via a remote). The AUX triggers on once you insert a 1/4 jack into it. The Headunit dispalys that an auxillary input has been detected.
Hope this helps.

I "borrowed" these pics from eBay, but this is my 2007 Coupe stock head and what I think it would look like if I had the guts to pull it out....
.....I suspect the 3 connections on the back are 1) Antenna , 2) Factory wiring harness, and 3) CD Changer?????? If one of those is indeed a fatory cd changer.....maybe one of those aftermarket interfaces could make the stock head think the Ipod is a Cd changer.......comments?

Has anyone out there actually done this? If so which unit did you use???
Anyone????.........Buehler?????

but if i read it correctly ur car needs to be xm enabled
