Does any know if the Invisicode for hooking up a radar det power code to the rear view mirrow could be used to hook up and portable nav unit?

I think a lot of the portable GPS units have some electronics in the plug that drops he voltage to 5 volts. Garmin Nuvi etc. You might be better getting a hard wire lead and using that. If you do a search on the internet you should find one.
